What is a 'miraculous' featured on Ladybug ?
Some sort of superpower device? Why is Hawkmoth and his evilised Akuma butterflies so hell bent on acquiring one?

He's not hellbent on acquiring any old one. He wants Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous; the miraculous of restoration and destruction. When wielded by the same user those two miraculous give incredible power over the world.
Sure, Ladybug can use her lucky charm to plot out miraculous ways to achieve a goal...but then it also reverses all the harm and destruction caused. Maybe would even bring people back to life if it was the kind of show where people died.
