Have you ever experienced anything paranormal?

I’d love to hear your story if you’ve ever experienced anything out of the norm or not of this world 👻

I have had many, many deja vu experiences.

But once, I was staying in a hotel. I randomly woke up a few minutes after 3 AM and looked around the room. I saw a man? about 25-30 walk briskly across the room and go to the back of the hotel room where the bathroom and kitchen were located. He was well built , but slender. As soon as I saw him, I thought,...I just saw a ghost. I wondered what to do. Then, he moved briskly from the rear of the room to the front, but I don't know if he went through the door or the wall.

He looked like he was in a hurry to retrieve something but I did not see anything.

I did not see anything below his knees but it could have been the angle I had, laying in bed. '

I did not go back to sleep until the sun came up...lol

----

I dream nightly. Many of them are vivid. One time I dreamt that I heard 6-8 men talking at the same time. They were talking so fast that it was almost impossible to understand them. The odd part is that I had the impression that each of them was carrying on a conversation independent of the others and they were comprehending the remarks of the other men.

Then, I heard a voice coming from a man. He had a deep, authoritative voice, like he was very confident and he was in charge. He said 'he's waking up, we'll get him in the morning after he exercises'.

I exercised most mornings when I woke up, but I did not return to sleep that morning either. And I skipped my morning jog. I returned to my usual routine the next day, but when I was jogging I was looking in all directions for anything unusual.

There is a lot in this world we don't understand. But I wish I did.

Yes, poltergist activity a few times in a house more than 120 years old. Chairs moved on their own, water dripping on the left side of the sink suddenly started to drip on the right side. Candles blown out and after 10 minutes, started to burn again. The house was spooky

I’ve seen the original owner (late 1800s) of my house several times. The most intense time was when he asked me point blank where his horses were. He doesn’t scare me I consider him a close friend.

@BackyardShaman You are one of the very few people here on SW who have a ghost in their house. I think I already told you earlier that there are several ghosts in my house (which is a very old house), but they live in their own world, and I live in mine; we do not communicate. It's a perfect example of peaceful co-existence.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
@helenS yep!!! And most of the time he and a few others just go about their business, this man is the strongest of them but usually I just know he’s here or a silhouette appears in the breezeway of him. He died relatively young so whatever this haunting is I think is left from that occurrence. Around each anniversary of his February death date doors open and close on their own in certain areas of the house and there are sounds, bumps, thing’s dropping, other stuff.

Not sure if that's related to paranormal perceptions but when I was a child, my mother and me sometimes had the same dream in the same night, just from two different perspectives, mine and my mother's.

Once in the early PC days, a computer code misbehaved one time and I could never discover why. It was very simple loop in assembler code where absolutely everything was accounted for, a very simple loop, and like "this was impossible", and when I tried it again it worked as programmed. Nearest I could figure was an interrupt by the operating system that didn't put the pieces back where they were. But that's still a one in a million guess. So it was like an angel or the devil just kicked a bit over to warn me that even computers make mistakes.

Yes once. But I don’t know the truth or science behind it. I was alone in the upper floor at night when one door banged very hard. It is in enclosed space, so there was no chance of draught( difference in wind pressure). My parents living in ground floor even asked who hit the door so hard.
