What the heck ? 2 cents on my credit card ?

Yesterday I went to pay the overdue amount on my credit card which should have totalled about $270.

Cashier tells me Oh don't worry there is only 1 or 2 cents due...

Baffled but happy me. I put my hand in my jacket pocket and I find.....sweets ! I do not eat sweets, I do not even like sweets and nobody around me eat sweets nor buy sweets.

Well my cc account ended up almost 1000 over the limit because of programmed auto payments that just went through like normal so i had to lose 1000 of my last pay to get it back under the limit.

Cc is the first thing im getting rid of this year.

@zonavar68 Thank god I do not have that. I would not feel in control at all.

At least i do not use BNPL or 'pay advance' services so to some degree I do have control over it. People using BNPL etc. to pay for basic necessities continually are in a far worse situation.
