Hey , hold on , wait a cotton picking minute. 馃槀 we have Paul Bunyan here in Bangor , Maine. The lumberjack with the big ax and his trusty sidekick Babe the blue ox., maybe it鈥檚 his twin.

@Repete [c=800000]Really? I thought he was unique to MN. [/c]

@ProfessorPlum77 maybe he just blew in during one of our bad winters we use to have many moons ago but we have him now . He鈥檚 at the Bangor state fair well where we hold that fair. Been there for as long as I can remember. To tell you the truth I鈥檓 not sure of his tale.

@Repete [c=800000]I imagine the legend originated in Maine, since it was a state long before MN became one. [/c]

Maybe he didn鈥檛 come by until after you became a state . But we have more in common or close , we are known as the pine tree state your state tree is pine. Very interesting... by the way come back here and get your loons 馃槀 yes we have just a few. ( understatement) @ProfessorPlum77

@Repete [c=800000]Yes, MN has its share of loons. Some of which live on MN's many lakes. [/c]
