Where people literally feel their heart split in two, despite their heart being physically fine. They experience extreme agony through the loss of love usually.

I dont imagine it would be physical pain as we know it. Just as people who claim to have been to Heaven so they feel joy and love, I suppose there is a way to feel the opposite as a form of pain

And anyway, what do you think you ultimately feel physical pain with if not our soul?

Since God is the source of all Love the concept of eternal separation means being cut off from all love and comfort, the pain will be knowing what could have been but will never be without any comfort.

I don't think there is such a thing as heaven or hell though I do believe we go somewhere.

We dont really know because there are quite a few theories of what happens after death. The dead dont come back to tell tales.
