Heaven and Hell

Heaven and Hell is a mindset- said someone. What are your thoughts?
They are real. God's Word gives a thorough description of both, even measurements. However, it also gives God's standard for salvation. No one has to miss heaven. We are all in the same position. All needing our sins forgiven, and when we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and come into our heart and life as our personal Savior, he does as he promised and welcomes us into His family. Then he sends the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and guide us along in life. And we have the promise of eternal life with Him in heaven.

Heaven and Hell are actual places.. One is the abode of the Father and the Angels and the other is the abode of imprisoned Souls..

People can experience very Joyful times in this world but nothing good in this world is anywhere near as good as with The Father.. Likewise people can experience terrible trauma in this world but tha'ts nothing compared to the torment people will experience in the eternal Lake of Fire..
Hell historically was a town called "Hades" where the locals dumped their garbage, the many decades of layers of garbage caused a natural means of combustion and in the night hours caused an unearthly glow of what was perceived as "Hell fires" gave rise to the eternal fires of hell.

It's all just fanciful storytelling by uneducated, bored sheperds with nothing else better to do.

Heaven is having a spectacular day/time/moment, hell is having a rough day/time/moment. Outside of those general meanings, they have no meaning... at least for me.

I believe the two are very real and that luxury is a state of mind that can help or harm the soul
