Jesus said, "only those who do the will of my father will enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 7:21). Will you answer the calling?

Do you know that every waking moment of your life, you are being tested? Every decision you make will determine whether or not you will make into heaven. There are some who believe everyone will go to heaven- absolutely false. The truth is: just as hell is reserved for those who do evil things, heaven is reserved for those who do good. Also, it's not about the magnitude of the act. Jesus said in Matt. 10:42 -

"If anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”

Think about what you can do for a child or a homeless person, or even the elderly. Christmas is coming up and I'm sure there are some less fortunate children out there you can do something nice for. If you have the financial means, please do what you can to help someone out. Christ commanded us to be charitable (Matt. 19:21).

I was not aware that every moment of my waking life I was being tested by my Lord. He Seems much sweeter than this, less harsh.
I was not aware that every decision I make would determine if Im going to heaven or not. Should I have the toast and bananas or the monte Cristo sandwich when I go out later. Which one will get me into heaven?

I do agree that not everyone will go to heaven. Some people just plain don’t want to. Many have no idea who Jesus is and sees God as a tyrant rather than a loving, generous father.

You can’t get into heaven when the most important person in your life is yourself.

The less fortunate should be considered and thought about all year long. Christmas is a shoddy excuse to do good and tell everyone about it while one pats themselves on the back. that pat on your back will be your reward. Besides, anyone can do good things. Thats not what ‘gets you into heaven’. You need to find the Will of the father and live that.

So what is the Will of the father, what does God ask of us? It sounds like a simple enough question, but when you ask there are so many varied answers. The will of God is often used as a scapegoat of those who consider themselves above everyone else in the church, because, how do you argue with that? There is a pride that can sneak into a christians life that will kill all the good he believes he is doing by seeking his own glory.

There are , of course, requirements. To be just, to be merciful and to walk with god in humility. We are asked over and over again to follow the commandments of the Lord. To seek him continuously. Our relationship with God is not merely obedience, it’s a relationship. The church, those who do the will of the Lord, is his bride. What does a good, perfect, Holy Man want of his bride? That is who you should be.
