Jesus said, "only those who do the will of my father will enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 7:21). Will you answer the calling?

Do you know that every waking moment of your life, you are being tested? Every decision you make will determine whether or not you will make into heaven. There are some who believe everyone will go to heaven- absolutely false. The truth is: just as hell is reserved for those who do evil things, heaven is reserved for those who do good. Also, it's not about the magnitude of the act. Jesus said in Matt. 10:42 -

"If anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”

Think about what you can do for a child or a homeless person, or even the elderly. Christmas is coming up and I'm sure there are some less fortunate children out there you can do something nice for. If you have the financial means, please do what you can to help someone out. Christ commanded us to be charitable (Matt. 19:21).

You don’t have to be a Christian to do good things for people. That is not why we should do good things. If the only reason one does good things is the fear of not getting into heaven, then you have to question how good one is on the first place.
@LilithoftheTrees Did i say you have to be a Christian to do good things for people? Where did I make that statement?
@LilithoftheTrees The reason one does good things for people is because it's the right thing to do. If humans knew the right thing to do, the world wouldn't be in the shape it's in today. Or perhaps they know what's right but they ignore it.
@RocktheHouse Forgive my error. Jesus said that! Praise Jesus bro!
@RocktheHouse lots of people do right things all the time regardless of what timeframe they live in or what faith or no faith they follow. If they didn’t we wouldn’t be here as a species. It’s a universal law of humanity - not because a book says so.

🤣 And right now, we are on the verge of extinction all because rich corporations don't want to give up their profits. There are some people who believe that all a person needs in life is 'food, water, and a roof over their head.' The very same individuals strive to or are living lavishing lifestyles. They say to a poor man, "you have food to eat, you have a place to sleep. Healthcare isn't a universal right, when it's your time to go, it's your time to go." Can you not see the sickness/narcissism in that? They claim that others should be content with a poor lifestyle, when they themselves are willing to steal and exploit people to get ahead in life. There's no wonder why crime is up-ticking in America - a society that venerates the rich; we call the super-rich "job creators" and "philanthropists" when in fact most of them are exploiters. This is how mixed up people are. They believe that the people that exploit them are their saviors. And most Americans would sell out a family member if it meant gaining wealth.
@RocktheHouse well that escalated fast.

@RocktheHouse I can't believe it. I absolutely agree except with the statement that we are on the verge of extinction. The problem we currently face is an overpopulation and yes Capitalism is a terrible system very good analysis. I'd rather have a decentraliced secular Anarchist society though
@SW-User Anarchy is biblical. Before there were kings and centralized governments, people lived communally and worked with each other to make life better for everyone. If someone wanted to leave that community/tribe, they were free to go. No one forced anyone. The God of the bible doesn't like governments, rulers, or kings.

1 Samuel 8:18

18 When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”
