I had my son's and my father's spirits come and visit me post their passings.
My father the day after he died of cancer at home in his hospice bed, and I was sleeping in my bedroom beside my parents' room convalescing from a foot surgery rebuilding a shattered left foot in a leg cast. I was 30 years old and home on medical leave. I woke up and looked at a music box that was on a dresser across from the foot of my bed that my mother placed the music/jewelry box on. She received from my father years ago as a gift, and you had to wind up a switch in its back and lift the lid to play, it played the song Love Story from the movie Dr. Zhivago my father's favorite song. Anyway, as I starred at it just being just awake, it played a full entire course of the song, yet no one wound it or opened the lid. My mother heard it and said thank you from her room, I said loudly it was not me, mom come here quick and look. She entered the room as I laid still in my bed and looked at me and then the box, and it played again. We both concluded dad was allowed to say goodbye his way.
