Not but sometimes my cat just up and hisses at shit in the middle of the night. That's when I hide under my blankets. I don't know enough to say definitively there's nothing out there but better safe than sorry?

@ProfessorPlum77 Animism used to be the religion around these parts before Islam Buddhism and Christianity came. I believe these animists belief got conflated with spirits and demons.

It's said animals can see and sense otherworldly creatures. @ProfessorPlum77 Before Islam and Buddhism came to the region a lot of the folk would have been animist, I believe it would have become part of the back ground 'noise' of the society. If you already ascribe spirits to the trees, the rocks, the animals and the water...
