I Want to Join the Freemasons

I am hoping to join the Freemasons in September. I would have already had it not been for the pandemic. In this video, Benjamin Franklin (or rather an actor playing him) explains what Freemasonry is all about. It makes me want to join even more!

@Catzgano I think as long as women are free to form their own groups and clubs there is no problem. Sometimes men and women like to do things together, but there are also times when they just want to be with members of their own sex, where they can truly relax and be themselves. I used to be a member of the Boys' Brigade as a kid and I would have hated it if girls were allowed to join. I would have felt quite uncomfortable and wouldn't have had the confidence to try and fail like I did when it was just boys.

There's a Mason Lodge a block away from my work building. The Masons are like a college fraternity. They may be established and more professional, but they are basically a fraternity.

@Barefooter25 Yes, I suppose it is and that sounds great to me. The idea of brotherhood and camaraderie is one of the things I find so appealing about it.
