Am i crazy to think this is some modicum of fate?
Last night I realized (at almost the exact same time that he did) that this sweet guy on here was someone from EP I had been super tight with 7 years ago.
It was so long ago that we don't even remember whyy we stopped speaking, but I went to my email and searched his old username...I had actually saved some of my old posts and comments, and he was present in that search like 5x.
I had, in fact, made a complimentary post about him back then...and when I showed him what I had written, the memories came flooding back to us.
I know it was "just a website" and i am likely an "online loser" for bonding with "hot babes all day", but we used to talk on the phone even.
At the time, I had lived with a scary alcoholic roommate (who I also believe is a murderer, long story), and he met me in that hopeless place and made me feel better. We spoke on the phone 1.5 hours this morning, and realized we had even posted very similar baby pics here.
When we spoke, he told me he had set his SW profile to delete, that it takes 72 hours, and that we had realized who each other are during the last 30 minute countdown before deletion.
Even if our fate was only to re-find a cool friend, I feel like this wasn't a mistake. Y'all have to understand..I had been off SW for like 6 years, and only came back a few weekssss ago.
