I would not try to persuade you one way or the other but this essay from The Free Press,
"How Intellectuals Found God", might be helpful to you.

@CorvusBlackthorne I hate to be uncharitable in any discussion about God but sadly your "response" is inapt and inept (and kneejerk). I wanted to provide the original poster with a piece on how a number of highly regarded intellects found their way to theism. This might help him in his own questioning.
(Dawkins himself might have a deathbed conversion. 😁)
Happy New Year.

@CorvusBlackthorne You are at least half-right there. But I also pointed out the inapplicability of your "response" and you are definitely worthy of the most sever ad hominems imaginable. (I say this not on the basis of this one exchange but on the universe of yuor expressions on SW.

That is your opinion....you are definitely worthy of the most sever ad hominems imaginable.
And here we see you doubling down on a logical fallacy after I pointed out that it was fallacious. This tells me that you have no desire of an honest discussion.

@CorvusBlackthorne It may be insulting to point out someone's filings but not fallacious. And I have no desire of a discussion with you.

@laotzu92 You choose to ignore my statement regarding your positive assertion, sir. That is your fallacy.
