I need 2 things to come soon: Jesus Christ, and my tax return.

Obviously JC he still has a reason for having you here. Keep in mind the story (from the Gospel of St Matthew) He told about the three servants. None of them kept turning around and talking about how they were waiting for and looking forward to their master to come back. The good ones knew they had work to do. So focus your energy on working out your salvation (mentioned in the Epistle of St James) and making this world a better place.

If you want a miracle, you'd better go to church and pray, because getting the government to refund taxes is a tall order....and oh, by the way, Jesus Christ is holding on line 2
