If you don't believe in God or a Creator because there is no evidence

Although I do not personally endorse the idea of a deity, there is nothing in science which precludes the existence of one, or many for that matter. In the matter of 'aliens' we need to be more specific as to what form that might encompass. Are we discussing bacteria, plants, or advanced space traveling intelligence? If there were an advanced space capable species and they did visit our world in the past, in what way would they differ from gods in appearance to any primitive culture of our past?

In short, I believe in beer! Makes life simple and enjoyable, can't ask for more really..
