The only proof we have for any biblical event was written and revised long after it supposedly happened... Stories become embellished with time, especially when the object is to change behaviour

@Convivial Not so revised, that God's purpose and intent in giving us His Word, has been destroyed. Jesus said this world shall pass away, but His words shall never pass away. The main focus is how to have salvation in Christ, so we don't miss heaven. If we miss that message, we have missed everything.
