If you don't believe in God or a Creator because there is no evidence

Do you believe in aliens although we have no proof ?

Actually, yes.
Considering the odds, you have what ? A hundred billion stars in the Milky Way itself. How many of those have Earth type planets orbiting them ? Got be a fair number. There’s a good chance life took root on more than one. We just haven’t detected it yet. Multiply that by the number of galaxies we know exist, and those we don’t know of, the odds aren’t impossible.
God , on the other hand, is extremely improbable. First you have to consider what prompted such a being to exist. (Assuming you hold to one supreme being ) his only reason as far as we can determine, is to create a universe and life forms, which seem to be the direct opposite of his own nature.
If god is working on some kind of grand plan or agenda, he would not only create the raw materials, he would have to create them for purposes that could not exist for millions of centuries. Were as life would evolve around them naturally over the course of time.
A creator, implies an intended result. You gotta wonder, what reason could a being with that kind of power and ability could possibly desire that he couldn’t achieve with far time and effort.
Aliens, can exist, and evolve both in intelligence and technology. An all powerful god, would have no motive to evolve . He already has it all.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Forty billion. I had to look it up just now.

@LordShadowfire
Hundred or forty, either way the odds are better than just one god.

@DocSavage to you.

@Axeroberts
I’m open to discussion. Make your case if you got one.
So far, you seem to be pushing a lack of evidence as chance worthy of faith. It isn’t.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@DocSavage if you don't see it there's nothing more I can give you
DocSavage · M
@Axeroberts
You got nothing, admit it.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@DocSavage what does that mean. Fine tuning is an excellent example. You even admit the universe is complex but don't want to believe it it's a deliberate creation. On purpose and with purpose.
@Axeroberts Oh, my friend, you have made a fatal error. You want to talk about how the universe is fine-tuned? Brace yourself. I've been gathering examples for a decade now.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M

@Axeroberts
How much of the universe have you actually seen ?
You keep saying “fine tuning “ but what are you applying it to ? Outside of the earth’s atmosphere. We would be dead, without man made protection.
So, where exactly do you see “design” ?
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@DocSavage it's simple science. Google it
@Axeroberts That's a laugh. You talking about science.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M

@Axeroberts
Give us a hint. Google fine tuning doesn’t bring up supreme beings
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@DocSavage i was talking science. There are many parameters we know of where a very small change would have prevented the universe from existing. If you claim to know science it's on page 1
@Axeroberts You weren't talking science. Science doesn't indicate a finely tuned universe. That's a myth created in religion.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire here's a few. Now go do your homework. You are looking foolish
@Axeroberts That doesn't prove fine-tuning. It proves that the universe works, if barely.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire barely? Hmm.

@Axeroberts
i was talking science
You’re talking nonsense. As usual with creationists, you like to sound very sure of your faith, but when it comes to direct, straightforward answers, you immediately become evasive. You might think you’re being clever, but you’re just demonstrating your ignorance and cowardice.
@Axeroberts You yourself said that had it not been for a coincidence of events, the universe would not have begun as we know it. Do you really think that's an example of fine tuning?
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@DocSavage i am not a creationist. It's so convenient for you to say so though. And straight answers don't work with angry atheists.
@DocSavage

Do you notice how when @Axeroberts doesn't have a good argument, he starts insulting you? Classic tactic.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire the math is exponentially precise.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire from the guy who swears at me 🤣
