@LordShadowfire this is the perfect example of how humans apply their own thoughts to a Creator who is so far above us. Thank you. We all wish life was so simple but instead I find this analogy to be
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Axeroberts Nope. It's pretty simple. For example, a child dies of starvation every 10 seconds. That means that one will have died by the time you finish reading my comment. Why does God feel that's okay? Is he enjoying himself, watching children starve to death and doing nothing?
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire again you are applying human reason. One could say their soul is with God now so,they are better off.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Axeroberts Then we should all kill ourselves by that logic.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire there is a purpose to living and dying.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Axeroberts Really? But you just said that all those people God killed are better off now. Why wouldn't we all be better off if we committed suicide? This world contains suffering, and I'm told the next one doesn't.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire i never said He killed them.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Axeroberts You don't have to. Bible says it. Also, if you believe he created everything, then he created deadly diseases as well. Or do you not believe he created everything?
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire well I don't believe the Bible literally. And I believe it has been created in such a way to sustain itself
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Axeroberts Then please explain diseases like harlequin ichthyosis and fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire I cannot. Can you explain how this universe was put together. Maybe if you could you would understand

@Axeroberts I can understand when a disease is unnecessarily sadistic. The idea of a progressive disorder in which the human body replaces all damaged tissue with bone until the individual is completely immobile and dies in absolute anguish of starvation is something I find abhorrent, but your god finds necessary.

@Emosaur Thank you. I forgot about that. You're absolutely right. And then they justify it by saying that Allah hasn't been proven to exist. Which is a total hypocrite argument.

@LordShadowfire it's hard to grasp. But I wonder if the people helping that person end up more enriched as a result
