Is the Abrahamic God the only one?

What if the true Being that created everything is not the Abrahamic God as depicted by religion? Would we have to change our concept of The Creator? Would religions disappear?

If you’re having problems deciding if there’s more than one God that created man then you do not have in your heart 100% IMO

@Emosaur is their proof that he doesn’t exist? That’s my proof he exists! As a matter of fact all that does exist is proof in itself. You don’t believe so what do you care though. You never seen me do you have proof that I exist? Or proof that I don’t exist?

@Emosaur prove that the one TRUE GOD Doesn’t exist and these other gods do.
Let me tell you a true story that happened to me about 10 years ago on Father’s Day.
Me and my wife and two kids made the small trip to Galveston beach to have a sort of mini vacation. I was on pier 61 fishing with my oldest son when I get a call from my wife who is on the beach with my youngest son. She could not get him to stop crying. He had stepped on a old crab shell and it cut his foot pretty good. I took off towards them by the time I got there he had calmed down and the lifeguard was there wrapping his foot . I knew something was wrong when the lifeguard rushed off towards the water. Something in me told me to hurry back to the pier that I would be needed. So I jogged back to the pier. On the jetti by pier 61 I saw a lady who ended up being from India out on the rocks on a part of the jetti that was too dangerous for people to go. I asked her if she needed help all she said is my baby and pointed to her 7 or8 year old daughter tumbling up against the rocks where the waves were crashing. There was a line of fishermen fishing and just watching not saving the little girl that was fixing to drown from the pummeling waves against the rocks. I wasn’t going to stand there and watch the little girl drown. Something in me told me I could do it I wouldn’t drown. I jumped over the rock actually I tried jumping the rocks but slipped and fell on them sliding into the water. I lost my wedding ring a crock and my phone. I got behind the girl and the waves were crashing on my back the water rising and falling dragging the side of my body against the barnacles on the rocks. I was trying to brace us by putting my elbow on the rocks. She was crying and said we are going to die. I kept telling her that she wasn’t gonna die cause if you die I die and I’m not going to die today. My side was getting ripped up on the sides of the rocks it was burning real bad I was wearing out I couldn’t time the waves they were slamming into me throwing water in my face and nose. I said God I can’t do this by myself I have no special training. Then I opened my eyes and I was laying with half of my body out of the water the little girl was already on the jettie being taken care of. Nobody else was with us or slung that little girl on the rocks. I just remember praying to God for help then opened my eyes and me and the girl was saved. I know that it wasn’t me who saved us. It might have been my body but it wasn’t me controlling it. The last thing I remember was asking God for help.
From then on I knew for a fact that God exists not only by faith but I actually had a personal experience. That is the truth. That’s really how I have no doubt in God’s existence.

@Emosaur it is for me. It’s a shame that you haven’t had the opportunity to experience it. It’s a feeling of awe! Really and truly I find it troublesome that you don’t believe me. All the proof I have it has been tried and tested and things that are written in the Bible have not been disproved yet. But a big part of believing in God is Faith. He created beings with the opportunity to love him or not. His existence is proven to people throughout the Bible. The very universe is proof. You cannot deny the truths not one of the Bible to not be true.
But he’ll has to be populated too! According to the Bible that’s where non believers will go but then again that’s only written in the same book that truth has been found.

@BlueSkyKing If you read my comments to Emosaur you will read why I believe. It’s in the Father’s Day story

@Emosaur first off what has been proven incorrect in the Bible? You will never see God with a heart of stone. God is Love his existence is known through creation. Unfortunately me myself don’t have any tangible evidence that he exists other than what I told you and you disregarded it for one reason or another, but you cannot prove that he doesn’t exist. The burden of proof can go either way you can give evidence that he does exist or you can present evidence that he doesn’t exist.

@Emosaur you have no proof that he does not exist. You have nothing that scholars of the Bible cannot turn by evidence that it is not wrong. I might be to wet behind the ears by that I mean not being as knowledgeable about the subject. To be quite honest and true about it I have read and tried to understand the Bible a few times probably more than a few times and I have to admit I get the jest of it. But I don’t know in-depth things about the common things or cultural climates. I don’t understand everything down to the inth of the Bible or the social and political climates you know what I’m trying to say. Like the knowledge about the areas covered in the Bible. Maybe you would be better off discussing this with a scholar. Lol I say I really don’t have proof that he exists other than what I told you because I am trying to be honest. Tbh I never or should I say recall telling someone on here something that I know to be false. I believe though through life experiences in God and that will never change. There will always be a Antichrist telling lies especially in the end times. Not saying anything about you! I don’t know your true thoughts
@specman
We can define a scientific God model, a theory of God. A supreme being is hypothesized to exist having the following attributes:

1. God is the creator and preserver of the universe.

2. God is the architect of the structure of the universe and the author of the laws of nature.

3. God steps in whenever he wishes to change the course of events, which may include violating his own laws as, for example, in response to human entreaties.

4. God is the creator and preserver of life and humanity, where human beings are special in relation to other life-forms.

5. God has endowed humans with immaterial, eternal souls that exist independent of their bodies and carry the essence of a person's character and selfhood.

6. God is the source of morality and other human values such as freedom, justice, and democracy.

7. God has revealed truths in scriptures and by communicating directly to select individuals throughout history.

8. God does not deliberately hide from any human being who is open to finding evidence for his presence.

Most of these attributes are traditionally associated with the Judeo-Christian- Islamic God, and many are shared by the gods of diverse religions. Note, however, that the traditional attributes of omniscience, omnipotence, and omnibenevolence—the 3 'O' characteristics usually associated with the Judeo- Christian-Islamic God—have been omitted.

Such a God is already ruled out by the arguments of logical inconsistency. While the 3 Os will show up on occasion as supplementary attributes, they will rarely be needed. For example, the case against a creator god will apply to any such god, even an evil or imperfect one. Furthermore, the God of the monotheistic scriptures—Old Testament or Hebrew Bible, New Testament, and Qur'an—is not omnibenevolent, and so not ruled out by logical inconsistency. The observable effects that such a God may be expected to have are still testable by the normal, objective processes of science.

@specman Didn’t say that. But there has to be a clear definition, things that stand out. Or it’s we that are doing the creating.

@specman
I appreciate the long response that you sent but there’s no proof that you can show me that will change my faith. I know in my heart there is a God and I will be with him one day and what a glorious day that will
Belief in a god based on emotional reasons, I don’t have a problem with that. Based on logic and reason, that’s different. You don’t accept the possibility of being mistaken, I do. We’re all children of The Enlightenment. Superstitions are useless. We have the right to want strong evidence before committing to belief.

@Emosaur It says in the Bible that God can and already defeated Satan and holds the keys to death. I do not know where those people who said God is unable to kill Satan. The reasoning as to why God is letting Satan stay in the world is in the Bible somewhere and I can't tell you exactly where to look.
You have to read and learn the Bible with an open heart.

I know you require factual and tangible evidence to believe in something and you use the logic of the world.
The Bible is hard for you to believe because it is faith based more or less. You sort of accept that when it talks about spiritual things. Spirits or souls is probably something you don't believe in either. There's no tangible evidence for that either. Until I was in my thirties I couldn't really believe there were actually adults that didn't believe in God. In my thirties when I actually encountered a woman who was getting Baptized that used to be a non-believer. She was surprised that her siblings and mom and dad actually came to see her get baptized.
I am not intending to insult you in anyway by what I say.

@Emosaur I don't know why it says that. The Bible has many mysteries not yet understood by man that will be known in full when Jesus comes again. Somekind of scholar would probably be better suited to answer that question.

Sorry that i myself can't answer your question's in full. I do not have a knowledge as deep to answer all your questions. With the limited knowledge that I do have I am answering them as honestly as i can .
