People who say science or atheism are religions are just advertising that they can’t grasp concepts that are different to them.
Science is like mathematics a discovery of rules that can be proven and tested. And atheism is an entire absence of religion.
Now stop being weird.

@ArcticDave Thank you for your clarification. Now, let's examine your statements.
1. Science discovers rules that can be proven and tested.
Rules about what?
2. Atheism is not religion.
How's that?
Religion use the explanation of metaphysics to explain what we are and how we must live.
Atheism use the explanations of science about what we are and how we must live.

@sree251 Scientific theories are models of observed reality that are useful insofar as they explain those observations. These models can be revised or discarded if new observations contradict them.
Religion in contrast cannot be disproven by new observations. Can you provide an example of this? What information would lead you to abandon your religion and convert to a different one?

@LeopoldBloom Thank you for a thoughtful response.
Religion is not to be confused with the practice of a spiritual faith such as Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc..
Observation involves the observer, the arbitrary subject. Therefore, all observations are not objective in the true sense of that word. Scientific knowledge is acquired by the seeker of knowledge, the arbitrary subject: the human being, a biological organism as assumed by science and declared as a truth. This is a dogma of atheism.
Religion is not a matter of faith and does not involve the observer. It involves the study of what cannot be reach through objective study of material reality.
