What beauty standards were prevalent when you were younger?

Has anything changed?

Modesty, decency, honesty. Everyone watched out for each other. Connection before consumption is how we lived. Miss my good ol Texan days.

I would say more natural and free-spirited. Influenced by the hippy movement. Bell bottoms and hip huggers.

There were no instagram or snapchat filters. No botox or lip fillers. No AI. Far less enhancement surgery and less overweight people too. We weren't on social media all day or on phones and we were more fit and slim.

In my opinion, there’s many different ways that people can be deemed as beautiful….and it’s not purely physical or superficial reasons.

Literal anorexia 😑

Thankfully yes, it's no longer much of a trend/standard anymore

@Elessar probably will be an underrated comment. Looks like those standard are trying to creep back in too. Not a fan 😥

Anorexia, Photoshop, completely unnatural and calling it natural to make us dogfaces wish CoverGirl performed miracles.
Just shave once in awhile and try not to look like a wildebeest.
