Younger generation will say “clock it” and can’t even tell the time on an actual clock

It comes down to the decades-long inter-relationship between big business corporate interests collaborating with big government to keep the intelligence level of American school children at or below a certain level characterized by no independent or critical thinking skills. They've managed to maintain that intelligence level that procures public labor capacity at the obedience level only.
