I'm dieting right now, but it's only had a miniscule effect on my weight loss. I'm saving up to buy a 2-in-1 exercise bike/elliptical machine soon, which will help a lot. I just have to be patient and realize that I didnt gain the weight in a day, so it isn't gonna come off in a day either!!

You’ve taken the most important step in committing to change. It’s true that eating has way more impact than exercise. I’m 160lbs and a mile of running or walking only burns 100 calories for me. I exercise a lot, up to 10 hours per week, but it’s intermittent fasting that lets me control my weight. I’d recommend YouTube videos or podcasts with Alan Fung that explains the basics. Good luck and be sure to post your progress on here to get the support and feel the accountability that comes from a community like this.
