I went light through most of high school. Then in college I went dark with the occasional blue high lights. Since college I've been fully natural (light brown / dirty blonde). My point is, hair grows and grows and grows. Do whatever you want because you can always change it. :)
I like both and my vote is you do you - whoever it might be in that moment. I think it's fun when women do different looks. Not the overly dramatic looks, but something that makes them, in the moment, feel good about themselves.
