its crazy what cosmetic surgery can do
It can completely improve/change someone fate. Imagine someone born disfigured, and they can have a surgery/reconstruction that will make them look normal

A few years ago one of my neighbours was severely beaten by her then spouse, she was already an attractive young woman but her husband beat her so badly she needed reconstructive facial surgery. The plastic surgeon did an incredible job and she could be a model now, shame what her husband did to her but thankfully the surgeon was able to make her even more attractive than she already was! I think the husband is still in prison😃

that is always a good thing to have for those disfigured from birth or due too an accident and it can improve there quality of life . when is for purely cosmetic reasons or vanity i am against that and feel under that proviso if it only for appearance sake if they want that treatment they should pay for it privately [pikminboy]

Most of the time they just look less disfigured , not normal.
