@Ferric67 2024 was a fun ride. That team is gone though. I actually loved all the changes they made. I’m shocked by how bad the lineup has been.

WAY back in the day I used to watch both the Mets and Yankees pretty much equally, but I eventually gave up on the Mets in the 1980s. I try to watch them, but somehow just can't get interested. I mean, they get a player like Pete Alonso who should have been a career-long player and let him go. And their multi-billionaire owner who was going to "save" the franchise doesn't seem to be able to do much even with all that money to spend.
