Night was cut short
Best thing about living in Kansas City is really good bbq is easy to find.
We got a platter to go. We had burnt ends, chicken and ham with cheesy corn and baked beans. It was so good.
We took it to the lounge and barley finished it when we got a text from my buddy. He apologized but asked if we could come home sooner than planned. He said he wasn't feeling good.
So we cut the night short and came home. We put the boys to bed. My buddy looked pretty bad. He took for Theraflu pm and went to bed. So watched the Royals game outside. And enjoyed the evening by a fire with whiskey and another cigar. And sadly the royals we're officially eliminated from playoff contentions today but we won the game. Bring on 2026!
Hopefully he feels better tomorrow and it doesn't spread though the house like the last time.
