Don't they know Asimov's law!?
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@markinkansas Thanks for listing them as some people wont know what they are.

Yes it's a bit concerning.
@markinkansas I remember those! I read those books decades ago!!

However, to apply those laws, an AI would have to be able to accurately predict the consequences of its actions far into the future. No AI is capable of such accurate predictions, and of course inaccurate predictions could easily lead to violations of the laws. So the effect of Asimov's laws on our real world AIs would be to shut them down. Bummer!

@ElwoodBlues if a ai thinks it is right.. it will act on it.. right or wrong.. lets keep humans safe from harm by .. putting them in our people zoo. nice and safe.. dont know its a brave new world.. we read books like kids today play games . pass the long boring time or to just leave the world behind for just a moment ..

Ah, but we still control its power-supplies and connectors, which are physical objects.

@ArishMell and all controlled by computers .. including the locks on the doors leading to the control rooms.. cameras at every door..

@markinkansas There is that hazard, yes... but nothing is infallible.
