What is the most exciting thing you've read about AI and it's abilities so far?

The Military has used AI simulations (so not real life, but a game) trying to figure out if AI will be useful for Military actions.

And as part of AI military missions, to accomplish it's missions of destroying the target, it would bomb /destroy it's own side's radio towers so that it's commander couldn't call off the strike and it would successfully complete the mission, with or without commanders approval.


So once you gave it a mission, it seeks to complete that mission no matter what, even if you want to change it's mission.

I think there’s a lot of over excitement. We shouldn’t be thinking it has the ability to replace humans in some jobs ..

Yes, that was recently, but still not perfected. Google laid off 13,000 enployees a month ago. Now, due to a new AI, Google will be laying another 30,000!

What does Google know that we DON'T know?

Nothing, nothing at all and I do not want my brain waves read. Why, just why do we need all this gadgetry in our daily lives just to make us fat and lazy slobs sitting around having everything done for us off of a thought?

I believe they're already doing this for advertising purposes. I can be thinking of something like how I need to go to the dentist, never say anything about it out loud, and then suddenly I'm getting ads for dental places and products everywhere. It's unsettling.

I'm not worried about AI but the people who who are developing it..the head of Google has publicly stated ,We don't know what we're doing😬
