A quick search showed me at least 18 new posts the last hour...

...right before doing the aforementioned search my actual main feed showed me two posts with a timestamp less than an hour ago before heading into the posts with 1hr timestamps.

If you just want posts and not comments you just choose the star feed and it brings all posts in chronological order

@SW-User I appreciate the tip, but that is unfortunately not correct. It does show posts in that feed chronologically, but it does not show all posts at all. Doing a quick tally after reading your posts, the New feed (a.k.a. the Star feed) only showed 4 posts the last hour. Searching for the word "the" shows that there were 23 posts the last hour containing the word "the".

EDIT: And I'm only talking about posts right now, not comments.

@PirateMonkeyCabinet mine shows them all 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not sure why yours is broken

@SW-User This happens to a fair few of us. I know I am far from alone in this.

Maybe your feed for some reason works better, but have you went and checked that your star feed isn't hiding any posts?
SW-User
@PirateMonkeyCabinet my star feed currently has 43 posts marked with 1 hr or less
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
@SW-User That's quite a good number. Still no idea if that is all of them, but at least that feed is not a dry desert.

No idea why yours works better. I haven't checked your profile, but the only reasons I can think of off the bat is that the feed is based on what groups you are in and whose posts you have previously viewed and replied to.

If you are in a lot of groups it might be inclined to show you more posts (although it seems absolutely ridiculous that you should have to join a group in order to get the posts in your feed). I've also noticed in my main feed that I'll see no posts from a specific user, but if I've clicked on a post from the recent activity list (without replying, just reading a post) then suddenly that post and some of that users older posts suddenly show up in my feed for a short while. Again though, as with the groups, I shouldn't have to actively click on everyone's posts just to prevent a user's content from disappearing from my feed.

Could also potentially have something to do with the hidden user reputation score for all I know.

@PirateMonkeyCabinet I have no idea. I comment a lot so maybe that influences it, the more you engage the more you see 🤷🏻‍♀️
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
@SW-User Aye, that may be. Kinda hard to find interesting stuff to engage in if it is hidden from me though.

@SW-User Clicked the Star feed just now, first post on the list is from 33 minutes ago.

@Gusman it works for me
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
@Gusman That sounds a lot more like my feed.

First four entries in my star feed.
Gusman · 61-69, M
@SW-User None of those are in my feed. 🤷‍♂️
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
@SW-User Either way, as much flak as I give the admins I ultimately just want this site to be one that both succeeds and is a good place for folks, so I am genuinely glad SW works decently for you.

@SW-User doesnt matter what feed i choose, theres little difference and they are all rubbish for me
