Back in high school, when I first started dating, I never quite understood why I had to CHOOSE someone to date. Why couldn't I just date all my friends? Why can't I just be in a relationship with everyone, all at once? After graduating, and experiencing more of life, I've come to realize that polyamorous is just the only relationship style that really works for me. I need to be able to pursue whatever connections I like. I need to be able to love who I love.

You'll likely change your mind at some point....many people reach that conclusion and change later.
MapleKittie · 22-25, F
@originnone i hope i don't.
JollyRoger · 70-79, M
@originnone And that's OK - people can change their minds, All of love is OK and we have to be open to letting it be OK.

I love the idea but I don't know how many friends will especially as we get older.
I practice that when I go to a XXXX theater,

I think polyamory feeeeels much more natural too. For me at least, I feel all sorts of fantastic different feelings of attraction towards lots of people, and I just can't wrap my head around why anyone wouldn't want to act on all of them! Like a big playground of love and friendliness.

I grew up in the era of 'My So Called Life' TV and though I'm not poly, I always saw the main character kissing her best friends (m&f) and always thought it would be nice to be That close to my best friends, so I kinda get your way of thinking

I thought the same thing back in high school. I just didn’t date anyone though. I find Polyamory is a proper way for people to look at relationships. Imagine showing more than one person how you feel about them.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
Most people don't seem to be able to share relationships like that, but only feel comfortable in an exclusive pairing.

So, good for you, Kittie! Spread the love.
Dirtman1956 · 61-69, M
I think that’s how it should be. Why confine yourself to one person. There’s so much love to give.
That’s awesome you should as it should be the most common practice for all!
ap199 · 51-55, M
I love this open idea. As long as everybody is honest about it. Should be lots of fun.
Alex51 · 61-69, M
I guess now you are successful practiceing polygamous relationship

It is possible to love more than one person, but generally One will be Special.

Good for you. There is no one relationship path that you must follow.
pdockal · 56-60, M

pdockal · 56-60, M

Who are you loving now
dale74 · M
Havent seen you on in a while
pdockal · 56-60, M
Just be yourself
Falconsolo · 26-30, M
I agree. But once sex is involved the women I’ve been with don’t accept it. You can date whoever when it’s just a date. Once your intimate then it’s all or nothing
MapleKittie · 22-25, F
@Falconsolo thank god that has not been my experience lol
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
Doesn't that become really hard to manage, because it isn't only you who needs to be okay with it, but everyone you're with at the same time?
MapleKittie · 22-25, F
@PhilDeep Yea! Which is why i'd only pursue that type of relationship with those who are on the same page

I too am of the polyamorous lifestyle. Love should be celebrated. Realizing it's a valid path really makes all those movies with love triangles feel frustrating though. 😏
MapleKittie · 22-25, F
@ViciDraco hahaha it really does!!
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@MapleKittie Just kiss them both and get on with saving the world or whatever you are doing already. Haha!
caesar7 · 61-69, M
