Book Recs anyone?

Hello! Does anyone have sapphic book recommendations? Or just any book in general. I'm a shut in who lives vicariously through characters.

Also please preferably ones that aren't series cause I'm broke but I have no self control when it comes to book splurging and if you give me interesting book recs, I'd probably purchase them at the expense of daily necessities. Thanks!

Don't know if it would be your type of book, because of the subject matter, which is polyamory in a pure science fiction genre.

Yet I will throw this in because it's co-authored by two female ghost writers even if its author is given to be Gordon Kendall.

Please note at the time many female writers ghost wrote as men in the 1990s especially in science fiction.

There are other exceptions the other way around in the polyamory type science fiction genre.

No one wanted to admit their preference for polyamory in any field. So ghost writing was very popular.

It's still that way to this day.

A second unabashed female author of the same polyamory sci-fi genre is Melissa Scott.

Must note this has Islamic overtones. Which is unique since it's a MFM relationship.

The placement of the F in the center makes the female as dominant.

@DeletedReality you're welcome. Certain things I can not discuss in a open forum. Yet if you have non specific questions please feel free to ask.

My profile, photo albums and whiteboard are open to all. And the later two are not broadcasted to the whole site. Like with anything in your feeds.

PM's are also always welcome. Yet you'll have to initiate those. I rarely ever initiate PM's.

@DeWayfarer no problem. Share only things you're comfortable sharing, i already learned a lot either way :D

Oh cool, thanks. I've only been here since last night so I'm still learning how to navigate the site

@DeletedReality feel free to ask about the site as well. I have a number of "SW PSA" 's posted and have been here since 2016 close to when the site started.

You should see if there are any free libraries in your area. We have quite a few where I live. Some just an old telephone box fitted with shelves and others a well maintained room in a shopping centre lined with polished shelves and categorized books, and lots in between. The idea is that you take a book and either return it or just donate another.

The ones I use have a good mix of old and new books. That way you can avoid the expense.

n't think of anything sapphic to recommend but I can recommend a short series of romantic books by Jojo Moyes: Me Before You, After You, Still Me: https://www.jojomoyes.com/books/me-before-you/

Not a sapphic book but it’s called how to be gay by Juno Dawson, it talks about being gay and lgbt in such a normal way, it’s so comforting

"Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens.
