in my case it goes back to my teen years when I worked at a sawmill. Part of my duties included building shipping pallets for car engines, driving thousands of nails with a three pound hatchet. My right hand and forearm were huge compared to the left.

@Nimbus I had its benefits. I worked outside in Georgia heat, so I was in fairly good shape for football in August. Plus I built up really strong wrists and forearms that gave me a wicked swing in baseball. The worst part was the stained hands from the lumber. My girlfriend had to put up with rough, dirty looking hands on her body.
