You could but you shouldn't if you don't have to.. because you could make it worse

You may be able to do it without a lot of pain, but I definitely wouldn’t think it was a good idea… (this from a guy who has pushed it a little too far on fractured and sprained ankles) lol

@booinflipflops2 it hurt a little but i did tape it together with another toe and i ran on dirt and nothing hard. i dont really know if it broke or not it just swelled up to an insane size.

@Lostpoet I would definitely go easy on it. Would try to limit my activities on it until I could get it checked out man.

Can? Yes… should? Absolutely not
Lostpoet · M
@Ilovestars I don't actually know if it is broken but it is still swollen and the nail is completely back now and i think it's because i've still been running on it and doing normal stuff at the gym. The pain is bearable but it's been two weeks it shouldn't still be swollen like it is.
Ilovestars · 31-35, F
@Lostpoet what did you do to it? The drs likely wouldn’t do anything for a broken toe anyway but you should probably try to be careful with it.
Lostpoet · M
@Ilovestars the gym a couple weeks ago. Google says the same thing that doctors usually dont do much for toes.
thewindupbirdchronicles · 46-50, M
what happened?
Lostpoet · M
@thewindupbirdchronicles A-hole at the gym hid a small 5lb plate inside the big 10lbs plates at the gym and I wasn't paying attention while I loaded the squat rack and it landed directly on my toe. It probably wouldn't have been so bad if I stopped working out and put ice on it directly, but I'm not very smart and didn't even look at it until I got home and it was so swollen that I had to loosen my shoelaces to get my shoes off.

You can but you shouldn't.

No
I think you can run over a broken toe. But then it would be a crushed toe.
