@SchoolBelle Arrogance (or perhaps narcissists) rarely admit they are wrong. And they become tiresome after a while.

I think one trying too hard to prove themselves is ego.

@Magenta Ego drives a lot of poor behaviour. Interesting that two of the Beatles used LSD in the attempt to destroy their ego.

I have experienced both and, no doubt, expressed both on occasion.

@SchoolBelle Arrogance is not quite so disagreeable in a lady, I find. In fact it has a certain charm, nay appeal.

@miscreant6x6 I have found, over the years, that arrogant men (or women, to be fair) soon bring out my own arrogance.
