Confidence is at the peak of attraction.

It is not easy to find and maintain the right balance.

In men, confidence often tips over into arrogance.

In women, it can come across as aggression.

Genuine confidence has no need to prove itself. I also see it as knowing it can be wrong.

@SchoolBelle Arrogance (or perhaps narcissists) rarely admit they are wrong. And they become tiresome after a while.

I think one trying too hard to prove themselves is ego.
miscreant6x6 · 61-69, M
@Magenta Ego drives a lot of poor behaviour. Interesting that two of the Beatles used LSD in the attempt to destroy their ego.

Being relaxed is important
With yourself and with others
SchoolBelle · 61-69, F
@Strictmichael75 Yes, relaxed confidence is it.

Anxious confidence is what leads to arrogance or agression.

@SchoolBelle Definitely
Be natural

@SchoolBelle real confidence is always relaxed.

So true.

Confidence is sexy

Confidence is comforting.
Arrogance is abhorrent.
SchoolBelle · 61-69, F
@miscreant6x6 Yes, of course.

I have experienced both and, no doubt, expressed both on occasion.

@SchoolBelle Arrogance is not quite so disagreeable in a lady, I find. In fact it has a certain charm, nay appeal.
SchoolBelle · 61-69, F
@miscreant6x6 I have found, over the years, that arrogant men (or women, to be fair) soon bring out my own arrogance.
