How often do you get compliments?

Are they genuine? men or women or a combination of both? For the longest time a compliment was few and far between. Once in a blue moon is an overstatement. But once I started working on myself, building my confidence, getting in shape and being an all around fun guy, only then did I start getting compliments. I must have been more miserable and hard to be around than I thought.

I get more than ever now that I’m older.

Both men and women tell me I look good. A lot may be because it’s an “MMA” gym and they don’t expect to see someone sparing or generally working out that’s 63 with very gray hair.

In public, or at work, women are more relaxed simply because I’m older. I think the “older” is less threatening, so they feel more comfortable and able to compliment.
