I Have Big Boobs

For years now I've worn oversized T shirts over my bathing suits at the beach because of my chest. I do it to be conservative not because I like to. I hate the look, it makes me feel like I'm fat and I'm matronly and I'm neither. Going through my summer wardrobe now I'm thinking about not going that route anymore but at the same time I know once I'm on the beach with all the crowds I'm going to go right back to the shirt. I need to feel more confident about myself in general but my husband has an unholy knack for saying just the right things to make me feel ashamed of myself.

I understand. I have extremely large boobs and find myself in a cover up more than not, mostly because some men gawk at me and it just feels disrespectful when I'm with others.

I understand that completely also I am to the point where my bras are all custom made for me and if I do go swimming I always wear an XXXXL T-shirt so I am not the focal point of everyone!

I understand I cover myself too, more because I just don鈥檛 like some men gawking like they are babies waiting to nurse. I鈥檓 really sorry that your husband makes you feel bad tho. I don鈥檛 have a problem with women that show theirs off it just makes me feel Self-conscious to show mine. Big馃

Feel free to disregard my words,

But from an unbiased perspective, the only thing you should be worrying about is your comfort. Yes, people may gawk, its the nature of being well endowed, but you shouldnt let the opinions of others stop you from feeling comfortable in your own skin. If you want to wear a two piece, do so, and do so because you want to.

Most husbands, in one manner or another, like to show off their wife. It's the "Look what mighty hunter has captured" syndrome. A few, perhaps including your husband, rather than being proud, are worried they they won't be capable of keeping their mate should they be challenged. I think your husband may fall into the latter category and so tries to dissuade you from dressing naturally.

So don't do it. I know easier said than done, plus coming from a man. It is a confidence issue. You are you, if you feel you don't want to wear the shirt, then don't. There is no reason to feel ashamed of your body. Take a deep breath, leave the t shirt in the car and get out on the beach. Now you can't cover up. Just be you.

As for your husband.... well hell, I stepped into already so... slap him! He should NEVER say things to make you feel ashamed of yourself. NEVER!!! He is either insecure of himself or he is ashamed of himself. If you both love each other there shouldn't be an issue. Unless he feels he has not been a good husband to you.

Either way, it's not you. Stand up straight, smile big and burn the T shirt. (you thought I was going to say burn the bra didn't you). Seriously, all of the above is serious. Just had to had the one line to hopefully make you smile.

What about slinging a towel jauntily over your top half? Or something pretty that will draw the eye away from your chest and to the rest of you.
Start with a button down, unbuttoned and open. Work your way from there

Hope you love your husband. He could make it much easier.

Be proud of yourself. Deep down inside you are, I know it. Let your confidence over ride his bad remarks. Make him feel uncomfortable for what he says, not you for how gorgeous you are!

Relax and enjoy yourself and feel comfortable, the hell with everyone else!
