Here in the UK, it is 5'4" and i am 6'5". Actually many tall men like myself find lasses of 5'$2 or even just 5ft very attractive indeed. Perhaps this is based on a natural thing about balance. Though no matter what height a lass may be, i find many lasses attractive and there is not one attribute i can identify
Seems about average. It would be interesting to see if those "averages" include the elderly who may be shrinking as they advance into their elderly years. Both men and women. Also, maybe "median" would be more meaningful than average or mean.
@akindheart Interesting. I recall reading about how a person’s height and thickness affects social status, wages, perception of trustworthiness, romantic appeal, etc. Or just by observation. Like researchers reporting how much more or less, on average, $$ people are paid for every inch taller or shorter they are.
I remember hiring criteria for airlines identified maximum and minimum heights and weights. Like one of the major airlines used 5’10” as a minimum for pilots, another used 5’6”. Flight attendants had different requirements, and different requirements for men and women. I recall once reading an article on average butt width for flight attendants. Supposedly needed research by plane makers when designing the jump seats for airplanes.
