For women - if you're bi or lesbian how did you 'figure out' that was your sort of preference?

For me it happened during my pregnancies.

25 ish years ago. I didn't feel in any way interested in other women sexually before then.

I've never felt even the slightest physical attraction to a man. Loving other girls (one girl in particular) always seemed completely natural to me. The only complicated part was dealing with other peoples' negative reactions.

@SunshineGirl I can't explain why the pregnancies started it for me. Before them I really didn't see any attraction to women but I guess every person man and women can have a completely 'open' sexual attraction palette if we're open minded enough. Just depends how far and wide we want to open up to it.

@butterflybaby75 Definitely, and I honestly feel bisexual attraction is probably the healthiest and most respectful state for both women and men.

When I first read your post I thought of a female praying mantis or a black widow, who use the male species for impregnation and then eat them afterwards for strength during pregnancy. That wasn't meant to be disrespectful to you or your feelings, but those species have always impressed me so much.

@SunshineGirl Yes bisexuality is probably the 'normal' latent state of 'natural' human sexual attraction and if anything is 'pre-wired' it would be that.

@chockaholic2020 Nice I recently had a chance at something like that but I think it's backfired.
