I am an Atheist and always have been

My Grandmother used to make me go to church dressed in best clothes. I am almost certain the church was of the Protestant denomination, Church of England?
The only thing more boring I have experienced in my life was attending a piano recital at the Sydney Opera House whilst on a school trip in 1975. (I fell asleep during the performance)
What did I get out of going to church? Reinforcement that religion was super boring.
If I remember correctly..."for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

Religion has been around at least since the Greeks ruled their known world. If they all went away today, there'd be plenty more to replace them tomorrow.

I don't subscribe to any, however, I was "baptized" as a Lutheran. I went to war wearing dog tags that said "no pref" where my religion is supposed to go.

What I believe is that there is a power in the universe that we're all a part of. For some reason, we've been manifested here on this rock to spend an undisclosed amount of time, or experience a certain amount of rotations on our axis as we also rotate around the star were stuck with.

We are forms of energy. We consume energy in order to continue riding this rock, that also happens to have an abundance of the type of energy we need to keep living. ..and it's continuously regenerating more energy.

There's a law in physics called the Law of the Conservation of Energy. ..it states that energy can't be created or destroyed. If you think your existence defies the laws of physics, I dare you to defy the ones that come with immediate consequences until you get to the one about the conversation of energy. ..
