Atheists, are you less inclined to vote for Trump because he said God saved him from the bullet?

A lot of people are calling Trumps survival a miracle and Trump himself said the same thing. Does this annoy you? Do you think the incident has done your movement damage because it could result in more people believing in God? And I mean the Christian God specifically because this is America.

I have to admit that far too many people, especially politicians, try to use the belief in God that the vast majority have to their own advantage. Even though I kind of like him, I do not believe that Donald Trump is actually a Christian.

@LordShadowfire I value his honesty above all. He says what he thinks and believes to be true, and doesn't care about any consequences that may result from doing so. We need more politicians like that.

@Bel6EQUJ5 the first sentence made me snort, but you have a fair point with your definition of it. I'm sure he truly thought nuking hurricanes and injecting Clorox was a good idea, that Hannibal Lecter is a great non-functional guy and that he prefers electrocution over a shark bite. I don't see why we need more of such thoughts outspoken in politics though.
