How and why a human become an atheist

I am certain God exists, but I need to know how and why atheists become atheistic.

So, paging any atheist, please explain how and why you become an atheist, that will motivate me to know God better.

Yeah, look in the mirror. You seem to have this desperate need to get everybody on the same page as you, and when you are asked for proof, you pretend not to know what that is. But I'm willing to bet that if I made the claim that I had seen Bigfoot abducting Elvis in a UFO, you know exactly what kind of proof you need to believe that. And when you're not playing dumb, you're insulting others. You are literally part of the problem.
