@Sharon God makes the claim that He always existed. Not in time and space but eternity. No one was there at the beginning and this argument about evidence will continue.
@Harl3y100 Then there's no reason to believe the singularity that expanded to form the universe had to be created. It always existed although, as spacetime began with its inflation, the term "always" becomes meaningless.
@Harl3y100 I can understand why it would be easy to think that however it is possible that the universe was spontaneously generated from literally nothing.
@GerOttman Whatever explanation is offered for the origin of "god" can just be applied to the universe instead, thus rendering the god hypothesis redundant.
