Who here is into astrology, and or tarot card readings?

I'm pretty into astrology. I'm a hot headed Aries. I'm super sweet person most of the time. I have little to no filter haha, so who knows what will come out of my mouth. I'm curious who else is interested in astrology and tarot card reader's? I've recently been interested in tarot card readings. I've had a couple and they have been pretty accurate. So if anyone here is interested in astrology and or tarot card readings I would like to know your story. What kind of experience you had and if you thought it was a waste of you're time? Thanks in advance 😊😊

@BlueSkyKing Dude you are completely misconstruing what im saying and putting words in my mouth! I have said that astrology provides answers and that things in the occult studies have not YET been proven truth, BUT i never said astrology was truth, i view astrology like reading runes or bones or tea leaves its all open to so much personal interpretation no test or method can be proven as definative of anything, i just know the personalities and shit are a nice way to know how a person might act in given times, but astrology as a whole is more flawed that the study of weather to make predictions!
@DiegoWolfe

“The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool.”
― Richard P. Feynman

Divination is the attempt to foretell the future or discover occult knowledge by interpreting omens or by using paranormal or supernatural powers. The types of divination are extraordinary.

— psychometry (divination by touching objects)
— lithomancy (divination using precious stones)
— hydromancy (divination by examining what certain things do in water or when taken out of water, such as coffee grounds or tea leaves); hydatoscopy (if rainwater is used); pegomancy (if spring-water is used)
— rhabdomancy (using the divining rod or magic wand)
And my favorite:

Rumpology, also known as butt reading, is the art of reading the lines, crevices, dimples, and folds of the buttocks to divine the butt owner's character and get a glimpse of what lies ahead by analyzing what trails behind.

These "seers" all have a common thread, using random events to making a buck. None are interested in benefiting humanity.

I am interested in Astrology . Not just about the prediction, but the science behind it. Science is predictive in nature, So is Astrology.

There is much to Astrology than just reading start signs. I come from a place where Astrology has ventured in deeper mystic realms.

I have no idea about Tarrot cards though.
@Sassychick420 Why not just get rich? Astrology is supposed to give you an advantage others don’t have.

@BlueSkyKing Astrology is not about zodiac signs and crystal ball gazing. That's Hollywood version. It's a sophisticated science. It involves deciphering mechanics of life and its relation with universe or more practically the solar system.

I can explain it. But it would be too long. Everything in this universe influence one another. Every atom or basic building blocks of matter and non matter.

What they call stars are are just representation of certain time pattern or time environment. The life takes form in the womb. it goes through many transformation in subtle levels. These transformations are prone to influence of many things. So basic calculation can be done by considering the brith time.

When you go advanced in Astrology, it something else.

You can explain but won’t? Too long? Why not put up a link? Because there isn’t a science explanation. A religious like belief is required, that’s why we’re in this category.

Calling it a science mean there is physical evidence that is detectable, measurable, and testable. By anyone, anytime. Also you mentioned calculating. Where is the math?

it has different mechanisms

astrology requires a correct reading of signs that the interpreter of the signs cannot influence

tarot card reading and interpretation depends on the interpreter and the object of interpretation
@fakable There are no mechanisms. Both imply psychic abilities.

Having an education tends to make me skeptical. Personally, I see astrology (other than completely useless) a first cousin to sexism and racism. Acceptable bigotry. Nobody gets to pick when and where they are born.

Also paying someone to tell me what I already know is silly.

I have had several and they've all been accurate. Tarot card readings that is. I wouldn't spend anymore than £40.00 on a reading though, anymore than that and its a con. :) One to remember!
Sassychick420 · 31-35, F
@CelticRose good to know yeah it's pretty incredible how accurate they are

I’m learning a lot of astrology in a class I’m doing, I like tarot cards too. Astrology is my jam. What I’ve learned from classes and looking at my chart is it makes a lot of sense of the world and how we experience it. Do you know your moon sign? You sound like you have a watersign or earthsign moon. Sassy is definitely a word that works well with Aries and Aries watersign moons. I have a couple card readers and the were very accurate. I have a deck of cards myself and use them about every 2 months. Astrology is so important it’s a shame people don’t usually see how good it is.
@Greyjedi Anecdotal. Can you link a site that shows it works and how?

I'd be interested in having myself read but I don't know much about those subjects tho they are interesting
