My dong is subject to periodic inflation based on the rise and fall of stimulus. I find that at peak inflation it can experience explosive growth. While it is ultimately subject to the boom/bust cycle it does seek safe shelter where significant deposits are made and then withdrawals.

I heard about that recently and was concerned about the limp dong. My friend Long Wang from the Bích Phúc Đạt province, Vietnam says "dong so weak." Even their Finance Minister, Phat Ho, won't get her hands near any dong. Maybe Long Wang's brother Wun Hung Low who works at a bank can help prop it up. Poor dong.

Gee, I'm not quite sure. I'd not considered all this, what an informative post! Perhaps it becomes a question along the line of longevity. I'd suggest a sabbatical to Vietnam and a meeting with the cousin Long-Dong.

Vietnam, as we know it now, owes its existence to our Democrat party. if push comes to shove, they should be able to shore up their dong with a credit line from the US, at least for the next 3 months.
