I know i'm a sucker for the mysteries of the world, the things that cannot or have never been explained. Such events like the Baltic sea anomaly or the far more famous Dyatlov pass incident.
In the case of Dyatlov, people have been trying to figure out what could possibly have happened for many years now, and the theories are as scattered as you can imagine, ranging from a cryptid attack, to mind control experiments, infrasound leading to absolute madness and many many more. I personally would love to know the real truth behind it, however strange it may be, just for the sake of finally knowing.
How do you feel about such things? are you meh about it, or does it stir your deep curiosity for the strangeness of our world and it's hidden nature
Usually its all explainable by natural phenomenon.
People don't like to accept that the world we live in is actually completely devoid of aliens or supernatural stuff. The truth isn't as exciting.
There are mysteries that people completely overlook for some reason that are well established. Like why does an electron change to behave as a particle or a wave depending on if it is observed. But for some reason people in Walmart don't understand why this is weird?
@unsociableAnthony I absolutely agree, and for me even the natural explanation is fascinating enough cause there are so many things we are yet to understand about the world and universe we live in. People have been trying and failing to come up with a natural explanation for this particular mystery for a solid 60+ years now, and none have succeeded, so i wonder if someone will in the future.
It's interesting you should mention that one since i've often pondered that as well. How strange it is that an experiment of scientific reading can vary based on whether it is being obsersed or not. Logically it doesn't seem to make sense, and yet it happens. I'd love to know the answer to that one as well. I think many people overlook the wonder in this, simply due to a lack of curiosity and desire to understand the true nature of things, i've often come across that personally
@brainrapist Exactly! it would mean so much to me to actually know it, even if i could never tell anyone else about it, knowing it for myself would be enough
