Art museums, but don’t see that so much in history museums. I think they do it in art museums because there may be a temptation to reach out and touch those artworks. Tight security in museums with guards watching on cameras. I took my daughter to the art museum at our local university one Sunday after it opened. A security guard came out and quietly followed us around the entire time we were there. Didn’t do it to anyone else. My daughter was about 13 and before we went I told her about being well behaved ( lower her voice, don’t touch anything, etc). She was well behaved and there was nothing that we did to warrant a guard following us around. We never went back after that
