I Love Exploring Museums

Who doesn't? They're there for you to learn and explore our history as a species. Nothing is more fascinating.

My favorite museum to visit was the Holocaust Museum in Illinois. The haunting feeling of walking through the trenches they built with fencing from the camps and the badges people were made to wear and the stories... that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
I think those places are going to be increasingly more important, when I was in school we had this little old lady visit us who told us about her experience in one of the concentration camps. It really left a mark on me that she had lived through all that and managed to go on in spite of it. A lot of people are politically interested in denying the holocaust and the more we forget the easier it will be for extreme nationalists and racists to seize control. It happened once and it can happen again, we have a responsibility to those who died to never forget.

I love museums too! I am lucky to work in one! You should check out the Holocaust Museum in Berlin, it is fantastic. The architecture of the building is very strange and it is very dark and eerie inside with strange windows and corners. It is very haunting and chilling, and you really get in-tune with your feelings. If you are interested in the Holocaust, visiting concentration camps is also a life changing experience.
