Try the local zoo, local theater groups, comedy clubs, etc. Get a copy of the local arts newspapers and it will be flooded with ads. Or check the bulletin board and free pubs rack at a midtown coffee shop.

@icedsky I honestly can't remember ever being on a cave. We meant to but we ended up doing other things.

I haven't found a really good rock, but I did stumble on a few good shells. :)

@Casheyane That's an old mine tunnel. They were looking for gold and silver. Anything else they found they left behind.
Old mine dumps. Where they threw the stuff they didn't want are great places to find some really cool rocks. Amazing what they considered worthless
