What's the most interesting building you've ever seen or been in?

The Colosseum in Rome. It held 50,000 people who enjoyed the exhibitions of exotic animals, executions of prisoners, recreations of battles and glatiator fights. But even with all of it's history, I found it sad that some with no appreciation had to vandalise it by covering areas in graffiti.

I found the same in some cathedral on a Hill in France outside some forgotten town...700 years old and some twat thinks he improves it be scratching his initials into the stonework... We really are children at times

@Convivial Some people never really grown up and appreciate anything.

@Jemimapuddleduck yeah... Rather sad really

The guy who left the graffiti said afterwards that he did not realize the Colosseum was a historical building!
@DrWatson 🙄

@MsSwan Exactly!

@DrWatson Unbelievable! But there was so much of it, and now it's ruined forever. And who does he think he was kidding?
They leave their mark like animals.
